Dining at Woodland Hills is under the capable direction of our Executive Chef, Mr. Jimmy Kang. Jimmy Kang's culinary career began early in 1993. After graduating from the Art Institute of Los Angeles in 2003, Kang sought opportunities to further develop his own creativity that eventually led him to Woodland Hills Country Club, where he has been our Club Sous Chef.
Kang's approach to his new role will be the flavor in which he cultivated a mission of providing the Club with fresh ingredients, without sacrificing flavor. His culinary philosophy: To utilize fresh, quality ingredients, and prepare them for a healthy, amazing experience, that gives the best flavor profile when it interacts with the pallet. If you have not had the opportunity to meet him, not to worry, you will. He firmly believes in visiting with members to ensure their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.
